KC Prime v2, year by year
KC Prime is an automated trading strategy for Nasdaq-100 futures (NQ) that runs on NinjaTrader. Below are hypothetical backtest results for version 2 in 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026 to date. Choose a starting balance and a risk profile in the bar above; every number on the page updates to match.
Each year is its own test. It starts again at the same balance on January 1, so the years are not added together.
| Year | Started with | Profit | Ended with | Return | Max drawdown | Trades |

Profit is after all trading costs. Max drawdown is the largest peak-to-trough fall in the account balance during that year. Select a year for the details.
Month by month
| Year | Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | Jun | Jul | Aug | Sep | Oct | Nov | Dec | Year total |

Green is a profit for that month, red is a loss. A dash means the month was not part of the test. $0 means no trades that month.

The results above begin on January 1. To show what a new customer could have experienced, a fresh account was started on the first day of every month from February 2023 to September 2026 and followed for the next 12 months.

The $1,010 account floor: KC Prime won’t open a trade if hitting its stop, plus commission, would leave the account at $1,010 or less. A start counts as reaching the floor if the balance fell low enough to stop trading. Starts from November 2025 onward cover fewer than 12 months, because the test data ends on October 7, 2026. These are results from the tested period, not a prediction or guarantee.
Growth or Steady?

Under $10,000 both profiles trade exactly the same. Above $10,000, Steady uses about half the position size of Growth: smaller drawdowns, smaller profits.
About these results
- These are backtested results: KC Prime v2 applied to historical NQ futures prices, using the same rules as the software you receive.
- Trading costs are included: $3.13 commission per contract when a trade opens and again when it closes, plus 1 tick of slippage (the difference between the expected price and the actual fill).
- Position size follows your chosen risk profile and your account balance, with a fixed upper limit.
- KC Prime does not trade on major U.S. economic news days.
- Test periods: 2024 and 2025 are full calendar years, 2026 runs from January 1 to October 7, and 2023 runs from February 8 to December 31.
- All figures are in U.S. dollars and based on standard (full-size) NQ contracts.
Hypothetical or simulated performance results have certain limitations. Unlike an actual performance record, simulated results do not represent actual trading. Also, since the trades have not been executed, the results may have under- or over-compensated for the impact, if any, of certain market factors, such as lack of liquidity. Simulated trading programs in general are also subject to the fact that they are designed with the benefit of hindsight. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profit or losses similar to those shown.
Futures trading involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for every investor. You can lose more than your starting balance.
