Automated Nasdaq futures trading, twenty minutes a day
KC Prime trades Nasdaq-100 futures (NQ) for twenty minutes after the U.S. stock market opens. Every trade has a loss limit and a profit target set in advance, and it’s finished before 10 a.m. Eastern.
These numbers come from testing KC Prime v2 on past market data (a backtest), with trading costs included. Past results don’t guarantee future returns. See every year and every month →
How a trading day works
KC Prime is built around the most active minutes of the trading day. It doesn’t hold positions overnight and it doesn’t trade all afternoon.
Reads the market
Checks the day’s conditions and the economic calendar. On major news days it stays out entirely.
Waits for its signal
Enters only when its rules line up. Each trade opens with its loss limit and profit target already set.
Stands down
No new trades for the rest of the day. Any trade still open closes at its preset exit.
A loss limit on every trade
The most a trade can lose is set before it opens. Once a trade is far enough ahead, the limit moves up to the entry price.
News days skipped
No trading on major U.S. economic release days, when prices can jump without warning.
$1,010 safety limit
If the account ever drops close to $1,010, KC Prime stops placing new trades.
Your choice of risk
Pick the Growth or Steady profile to match how much swing you’re comfortable with. You can switch at any time.
Runs in your NinjaTrader
The strategy runs inside your own platform and account. No one else trades for you.
Off whenever you want
Turn the strategy off in NinjaTrader and it stops opening trades immediately.
Getting started
We handle the installation with you over a remote session, so there’s nothing to configure on your own.
Open your account
Open and fund a NinjaTrader futures account in your name. The minimum is $5,000; we recommend $10,000 or more.
Rent a VPS
A VPS is a Windows computer you rent online. It keeps NinjaTrader running every morning, even when your own computer is off.
We install KC Prime
We connect remotely, install the strategy, activate your license and load the settings.
It trades for you
From the next trading morning it runs on its own. A quick daily check, or our ongoing support, keeps it that way.
Risk profiles
Both profiles take the same trades. They differ only in how many contracts they use once the balance passes $10,000. You can switch at any time.
| GrowthFaster growth, bigger swings | SteadySmoother, smaller swings | |
|---|---|---|
| Below $10,000 | Same trades and size as Steady | Same trades and size as Growth |
| Above $10,000 | Adds contracts steadily as the balance grows | About half the position size of Growth |

Pricing
One payment covers the software and a personal installation. After the first 30 days, ongoing support is optional. We recommend it because NinjaTrader or the VPS can occasionally lose its connection, and KC Prime can’t trade until it’s back. With support, we check that it’s connected every trading day, so a dropped connection doesn’t cost you a session.

How much to start with
KC Prime trades full-size NQ contracts, so the account needs room for normal losing streaks.
Works, but it’s on the riskier side. In our hardest test, a $5,000 account fell to about $2,800 before recovering.
More breathing room. In the same hardest test, a $10,000 account stayed above about $7,800.
Running costs
Paid directly to the providers. We help you set each one up.

Can I lose money?
Yes. Futures trading carries real risk, and KC Prime has losing days, losing months and drawdowns. In the backtests, the biggest dips for a $5,000 Growth account were between about 25% and 45% before recovering. Only trade money you can afford to have at risk.
Who holds my money?
You do. Your funds stay in your own NinjaTrader account the whole time. KC Prime can place trades, but it cannot withdraw or move money.
Do I need to watch it?
You don’t need to watch it trade. We do recommend a quick check once a day: now and then NinjaTrader or the VPS loses its connection, and KC Prime can’t trade until it’s back. With ongoing support, we do this check for you every trading day.
Can I turn it off?
Yes, at any time. Switching the strategy off in NinjaTrader stops new trades immediately.
How close are the backtests to live trading?
A backtest replays historical prices, so live results will differ with real fills and market conditions. Every test includes trading costs (commission and slippage, the small difference between the expected and the actual price), and we repeated the hardest cases with twice the normal slippage.
How much money do I need?
The minimum is $5,000, but that is on the riskier side: KC Prime trades full-size NQ contracts, and a losing streak takes a bigger bite out of a small account. We recommend $10,000 or more for extra breathing room.
